Well, things have been... interesting. My
semester break comes to the end. As a result I've not been putting a lot of
time into the blog. Again. And I've been eating lots of chocolate. I've just
been busy with getting used to the new semester and therefore not writing about
the chocolate happenings. Today, however, I feel like posting so I'm going to
go on a bit about what I've been up to.
First things to address is I've not eaten a lot
of interesting chocolate of late, but I did pick up some Swiss Chocolate Brut (white
chocolate ) by nestle. White chocolate is not
actually chocolate. White chocolate doesn't contain any cocoa solids and does
not have 'chocolate' flavor. But I like the unique creamy flavor good white
chocolate does have of course that depends on the brand and that varies from
manufacturer to manufacturer.
White chocolate contains cocoa butter, a
product of the cocoa bean used to make chocolate. White chocolate used in
baking and candy making is a blend of milk, cocoa butter, sugar and often
vanilla.
Nestlé Swiss is
simply traditional chocolate at its very best. The Nestlé Swiss brand carries
on that tradition. It is chocolate in its most natural form , simple, authentic
and delicious, which is why we like to call it 'chocolat brut'. Stylish
presentation, that reflects both the jagged contours of the mountains, and the
pure, clean lines favoured by Swiss architects and designers, make Nestlé Swiss
the perfect gift for family and friends.
The new packaging is
characterised by shiny silver colour and imagery of a chocolate mountain
blending into an Alpine landscape. It appeals to "genuine sensation
seekers" who appreciate authentic, Swiss chocolate that combines
deliberate robustness, purity and delight.

So
that's a bit of what's been going on in my little world of chocolate.
